Registration and Accreditation

UOW College Australia is a registered Higher Education Provider (HEP) with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), the national regulator of the Higher Education sector in Australia, and a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), the national regulator for Australia's Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, with both registrations most recently renewed for the maximum 7 year period. UOW College Australia is also registered with TEQSA and ASQA to deliver courses to international students studying on Australian student visas and is listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS Provider Code: 02723D).

All Higher Education courses offered by UOW College Australia are accredited by TEQSA, with Higher Education Diploma courses also accredited by the University of Wollongong. All VET programs are nationally recognised training packages that are approved by ASQA for UOW College Australia delivery. All Higher Education and VET courses delivered by UOW College Australia are nationally recognised qualifications in the Australian Qualifications Framework, ensuring that the qualifications received by UOW College Australia graduates are recognised throughout Australia and internationally for further education and employment in the private and public sectors.

Alongside UOW College Australia’s prescribed accreditation, professional accreditation and recognition for Nursing and Engineering programs has been achieved with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council and Engineers Australia.

In addition to the regulatory review processes and monitoring exercises conducted on providers by TEQSA and ASQA to maintain the high standards expected of registered HEPs and RTOs, UOW College Australia programs are also quality assured by the University of Wollongong, with rigorous annual reviews conducted and representation of key UOW senior academic staff throughout UOW College Australia’s internal governance framework. This ensures that all aspects of the administration of our programs meet and reflect UOW’s high standards of academic quality.
