Diploma of Business 3 session - course outline (pdf)

The Diploma of Business allows students to progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Business or the Bachelor of Commerce at UOW’s Wollongong or South Western Sydney Campuses, with 48 points of UOW credit transfer.

At the Wollongong Campus the 2 and 3 session Diplomas have intakes in Autumn, Spring and Summer. At the South Western Sydney Campus the 2 session Diploma has an Autumn intake only; the 3 session Diploma has a Summer intake only.

All sessions run on UOW College dates.

Diploma of Engineering 3 session - course outline

The tables above contain the subject matrices and progression rules for the Diploma (2 and 3 sessions).

The Diploma of Engineering allows students to progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at UOW’s Wollongong Campus, with 48 points of UOW credit transfer.

The 2 session Diploma has an Autumn intake only and the 3 session Diploma has a Summer intake only.

The 2 session Diploma runs on UOW session dates (Autumn and Spring). The 3 session Diploma Summer intake session runs on UOW College session dates, with sessions two (Autumn) and three (Spring) running on UOW session dates.

The Diploma of Information Technology allows students to progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Business Information Systems, the Bachelor of Computer Science or the Bachelor of Information Technology at UOW’s Wollongong or South Western Sydney Campuses, with 48 points of UOW credit transfer. 

At the Wollongong Campus the 2 session Diploma has intakes in Autumn and Spring only; the 3 session Diploma has an intake in Summer only. At the South Western Sydney Campus the 2 session Diploma has intakes in Autumn and Spring only; the 3 session Diploma has a Summer intake only.

The Diploma of Social Science allows students to progress to the second session of the first year of the Bachelor of Social Science or the Bachelor of Arts at UOW’s Wollongong Campus, with 24 points of UOW credit transfer.

The Diploma has an Autumn intake session only.

Foundation Extended Offshore - course outline (pdf)

The Foundation Studies Program Extended (FSPE) is a 3 session course for international students. The Foundation Studies Program (FSP2) is a 2 session course for international students.

FSPE students take a common stream of study in their first session regardless of their UOW degree offer. On successful completion of that session FSPE students move into the same program of study as FSP2 students (sessions 2 and 3 of FSPE are the same as sessions 1 and 2 of FSP, respectively).

FSPE and FSP2 allow students to progress to the first year of their UOW degree offer at UOW’s Wollongong Campus.

UEC and STEP allow students to progress to the first year of their UOW degree offer at UOW’s Wollongong Campus.

University Access Program - course outline(pdf)

The University Access Program (UAP) is a one session course for eligible domestic students. Students are placed in UAP Stream 1 or Stream 2, depending on their UOW degree offer.
