^For English language courses of 24 weeks or less, UOW College defines the “study period” as being equal to the course length.  All fees must be paid upfront along with your acceptance of the offer. For English courses of 30 weeks or more, “study period” is defined as a 6-week teaching cycle. You will be required to pay half of the total course fee upfront along with your acceptance of the offer; the balance will be due about two weeks before the start of the second study period.

* Whilst this course is registered independently on CRICOS, letters of offer and enrolments will be made under CRICOS Course Code 069912A English Language Programs (Beginner to Advanced). English Language Programs is a packaged course offered by UOW College for the study of multiple English language courses, including English for Academic Purposes (CRICOS Code 057131G), English for Tertiary Studies (CRICOS Code 059174B), English for Tertiary Studies Bridging Course (CRICOS Code 080511C), General English (CRICOS Code 057140F), Introduction to Academic Studies (CRICOS Code 057141E) and IELTS Test Preparation Course (CRICOS Code 057142D).

The fees below are for entry into "Phase 2".

Students requiring additional English ("Phase 1") will receive an English course offer with fees and duration options as shown above in Fees for English Study.

Upfront payment

Payment method: Students can choose to pay their fees upfront prior to the commencement of the course by Electronic Funds Transfer, Money Order, Visa or MasterCard. The date payment is required will be stated in the offer letter. Amex and cash are not accepted.

Pay in instalment

Instalment frequency: The instalments consist of three equal payments per session. The first instalment must be paid prior to the commencement of the course, with subsequent payments automatically deducted from the credit card at weeks 5 and 10. Instalments must be approved by the General Manager. Please see College Reception to make an appointment with the Student Advisor to enquire about this.

2024 scholarships

UOW College Australia offers a range of international scholarships to students for both English Language and Academic pathway courses. All students will be automatically assessed for a scholarship when their application is submitted and scholarship awarded at the time of offer.

Eligible students who receive an offer for the Summer Session 2024 and all sessions in 2025 can benefit from a 20% tuition fee waiver. This bursary is open to all international students, with the exception of citizens of Australia or New Zealand.

The scholarship will be automatically applied to offers issued from 7 June 2024 onwards.

Eligibility criteria

To qualify for this bursary, students must: 

  1. Meet the citizenship requirements.
  2. Have an active offer for one of the following courses: 
  • Diploma of Arts,Social Science and Humanities Fast Track (2 Session) (3193)
  • Diploma of Business (2 Session) (1950)
  • Diploma of Business (3 Session) (1952)
  • Diploma of Engineering (2 Session) (2902)
  • Diploma of Engineering (3 Session) (2903)
  • Diploma of Information Technology (2 Session) (1963)
  • Diploma of Information Technology (3 Session) (1964)
  • Diploma of Science (2 Session) (2905) 
  • Foundations Studies (2 Sessions) (1930)

Scholarship issuance

This scholarship will be available to eligible students who receive an offer for the Summer Session 2024 and all sessions in 2025 can benefit from a 20% tuition fee waiver. The scholarship will be automatically applied to offers made from 7 June 2024. 

Students can only receive one (1) UOW College scholarship, sponsorship, or bursary for the same course. The exception is the Study Tour Scholarship, which can be combined with another scholarship. 

Students who are eligible for the International Academic Course Bursary on their Academic Diploma are also eligible for the English Language Pathway Bursary based on their English language offer. 

Students with an offer for English for Academic Purposes (EAP) or English for Tertiary Studies (ETS) as a requirement to study prior to their UOW College Diploma or Foundation Studies program are eligible for a 20% discount on their English studies.

Students who are eligible for the English Language Pathway Bursary are also eligible for the International Academic Course Bursary, which provides a 20% discount towards their Academic Diploma or Foundation Studies Program.

Eligibility criteria 

To qualify for this bursary, students must: 

  1. Have an active offer for one of the following courses:
    - English for Academic Purposes (CRICOS: 057131G);
    - English for Tertiary Studies (CRICOS: 059174B) 
  2. The UOW College English Course offer must be issued after 7 June 2024 and be applicable for all future sessions in 2024 and 2025.

Students can only receive one (1) UOW College scholarship, sponsorship, or bursary for the same course. The exception is the Study Tour Scholarship, which can be combined with another scholarship.

Eligible students with offers for the 2024 academic year can benefit from a reduced tuition fee of $390 per week.

Eligibility criteria

To qualify for this bursary, students must:

  1. Be citizens of Central and South America, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey or Vietnam.
  2. Have an active offer for one of the following courses:
  • General English (CRICOS: 057140F)
  • English for Academic Purposes (CRICOS: 057131G)
  • English for Tertiary Studies (CRICOS: 059174B) 

Scholarship issuance

This scholarship will be available to eligible students who receive offers starting from 18th September 2023. It is applicable for students commencing their studies in 2024, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. 

Students can only receive one (1) UOW College scholarship, sponsorship, or bursary for the same course. The exception is the Study Tour Scholarship, which can be combined with another scholarship.

Eligible international students can benefit from a 10% tuition fee waiver for the HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing. Please note that this scholarship is not available to citizens of Australia and New Zealand.

Eligibility criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, students must:

  • Meet the citizenship requirements, excluding Australian and New Zealand citizens.
  • Have an active offer for the HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing course.  

Scholarship issuance

This scholarship will be available to eligible students who receive offers starting from 18th September 2023. It is applicable for students commencing their studies in 2024, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

Students who complete a study tour through UOW College Australia are eligible for a $3,000 scholarship for further study at UOW College Australia. The scholarship aims to encourage participants to pursue academic pathway programs or vocational qualifications at UOW College Australia.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, student must have an active offer for one of the following courses:

  • Any English language course for a duration of 18 weeks or more
  • Diploma of Arts, Social Science and Humanities Fast Track (3193)
  • Diploma of Business Fast Track (1950)
  • Diploma of Business Standard Session (1952)
  • Diploma of Engineering Fast Track (2902)
  • Diploma of Engineering Standard Session (2903)
  • Diploma of Information Technology Fast Track (1963)
  • Diploma of Information Technology Standard Session (1964)
  • Diploma of Science Fast Track (2905)
  • Diploma of Science Standard Session (2906)
  • Foundations Studies (2 Sessions) (1930)

The Study Tour Scholarship can be combined with the UOW College English Language Bursary and Country Bursary.

Scholarship Terms and conditions

  1. To be eligible to receive a bursary or scholarship with UOW College Australia, the applicant must be a citizen of the stipulated country.  
  2. Where a student extends their course after course commencement at UOW College Australia, the tuition fee for the period of the extension will be at the same bursary or scholarship rate.  
  3. The bursary or scholarship can only be used on the course dates as specified in the offer of admission. Where an applicant defers or otherwise changes the course commencement date, the bursary or scholarship will be reassessed and may not be re-offered for that deferred course commencement date.  
  4. This scholarship and bursary scheme supersedes all previous offers.  
  5. Scholarship and bursary recipients may be invited to participate in selected marketing initiatives by UOW College Australia and are expected to be willing to engage in these activities.
  6. All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are dependent on the actual year of commencement and are subject to change without notice and in accordance with approved annual fee increases.
