Student Homestay packages

UOW College Homestay is a very cost effective way of staying in Wollongong, with additional benefits such as:

  • Knowing you are living in a safe environment, with people that UOW College know and trust
  • Practicing and improving your conversational English
  • Becoming familiar with local customs and culture
  • Affordable alternative to other living options in Wollongong
  • Enjoying the comforts of a home environment with people who care about you.

Your weekly Homestay fee includes:

  • Your fully furnished room (bed, desk, chair, clothes storage, lamp, bedding, pillows, towels, blankets)
  • Breakfast & Dinner everyday
  • Lunches when you are home on weekends
  • Use of the house & outdoor areas
  • Utilities (gas, water, electricity, rates)

Student rates

There may be some other possible additional charges that you are required to pay such as internet or special dietary requests.

Homestay placement application fee $300 (one off fee)
Accommodation rate: single bedroom $350 per week
Accommodation rate: twin/triple share bedroom
(Study Tour students only)		 $315 per week (per student)

Airport pickup $170* (one off fee)
TIGS Management Fee High School (students enrolled at TIGS only) $200 per term

*Students with an offer to study at UOW may be eligible for a free Airport Pick-up.
