The following FAQs provide up to date information regarding the novel coronavirus (also called 2019-nCoV or COVID-19) for future and current students of UOW College. Support Services

Now that the College has moved to remote learning we want to let you know about the student support services that are available to you.  All our usual student support services are available online.  Here is some information about getting the help you need to succeed, and how to contact College staff with your questions and concerns.

Contact the student services desk on 42528804 (8.30- 5.00pm) or email:

Staff providing support on this contact number or email will be able to help you with your questions and direct you to specialist staff if needed.

Email our Student advisor team college-advisor@uow.edu.au

They will respond to your enquiry and, if needed, make an appointment for you via telephone or video conference. They can also refer you to other services as needed.

This service will remain available through Moodle as usual, 24/7.

Further to these services, you will receive regular surveys to communicate with us about your online experience. You may also have College staff contact you to see how you are going with the new mode of study.

Please check your SOLS/email regularly. Download Webex Teams and Webex Meetings on your devices and get ready for your online education.

Using the Webex Teams App (please download and use your UOW credentials), you will be able to join a group for applicable subjects. Online assistance will be offered through the group, and you will be able to communicate with other students in your subject in this way also.

The teachers in the Learning Hub will be teaching Language Support online via Webex.  To make an appointment, email: lstokes@uow.edu.au
