Empowering Success Stories
Patrick's nomination reflects the transformative power of dedication and passion.
"This nomination means the world to me. It's a validation from the Australian health and fitness industry that doing what you love can change your life," said Patrick.
His journey serves as an empowering example for all students, especially those facing challenges related to disabilities.
A Community of Support
Our very own Kelly McMullan, Program Manager (Fitness) at UOW College, nominated Patrick. "His work ethic and commitment to helping others are truly inspiring," she said. "We're proud to have been part of his journey and to see him excel in the fitness industry."
Patrick's story is one of triumph over adversity. After completing his Certificate III and IV in Fitness at UOW College, he immediately joined The Disability Trust, where he applies his own experiences and challenges with cerebral palsy, autism, and intellectual disability.
A Family Affair
One of Patrick’s biggest supporters is his mother, whom he has been personally training for the past three years. Through his guidance, she has successfully lost weight, gained strength, and improved her overall health and fitness.
His story resonates not just within our community but also serves as an inspiration, reminding us of all the boundless possibilities that education and determination can unlock.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Patrick Mitchell.
