What To Do On Test Day
Arrival at Centre
On test day, please arrive with your passport at Building 30 at 8 am for paper based tests or 8:30 am for computer based tests and leave any personal stationery and other items (keys, wallet, phone, wrist watch) in the secure bag room before making your way to the test room. All stationery for the test will be provided in the test room. Personal stationery will not be permitted in the test room and must be checked into the secure bag room along with other personal items. In the test room your are only permitted to take your passport, and a clear drink in a clear bottle (without label). MOBILE PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED. You will be removed from the test room if found with one.
YOU MUST BRING THE VALID PASSPORT SUPPLIED UPON APPLICATION OR YOUR TEST WILL BE CANCELLED.
Writing, Reading & Listening
At 8.30 am we will need to capture your finger print as you enter the test room. The writing, reading and listening tests will start at 9 am sharp, finishing at approximately 12.15 pm. Please be seated before 8.55 am as there is no late entry permitted.
Your speaking test time will be printed on your desk label on the day, and will be between 1 pm and 5.30 pm that afternoon, taking between 10 and 15 minutes. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled speaking test time so we can take your photo for your Test Report Form. If you are late, your speaking test may be cancelled. It may be necessary to change your speaking test time on test day, so we appreciate your flexibility and apologise in advance for any unforeseen circumstances that may affect your allocated time.
What to Bring
On test day, you should bring with you:
Passport - failure to bring your passport will result in your test being cancelled.
Water in a clear (not coloured) transparent bottle without labels.
Only the above items will be allowed in the test room.
