After completing your UOW College academic course, your place at UOW is guaranteed, provided you meet the specific entry criteria for your chosen UOW course. For most courses, this primarily involves achieving a particular mark in your UOW College course, as detailed in the course outline.

Our diplomas can be completed in either two or three sessions. We understand everyone has different needs, so part-time options are also available to suit your schedule. There are three intakes a year – Autumn, Spring, and Summer – giving you the flexibility to start at different points in the year. It is important to check the session starts for each diploma as intakes vary throughout the year depending on the diploma.

Fast Track Diplomas are delivered in two sessions and are designed for students who meet certain academic requirements and need additional support while studying academic subjects prior to starting university studies. Our Standard Session Diplomas are delivered over three sessions with the first session dedicated to preparatory work, setting a strong foundation for success, followed by in-depth academic subjects in the second and third sessions.

However, if you did not complete your HSC or receive and ATAR, we offer alternative assessments to demonstrate your readiness, such as individual subject results or a literacy and numeracy test. There are also English language requirements for International students.

A nationally recognised qualification is a credential that is recognised by employers and educational institutions throughout Australia. All Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training courses offered by UOW College align to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

The application process is straightforward and varies slightly depending on your circumstances

Domestic students:

• High School Students: You can apply through the UOW College Apply Now portal. Additionally, you have the option to apply via the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) or through the UOW Early Admission program.
• Applicants Aged 21 or older: For a streamlined process, we recommend applying directly through the UOW College Apply Now portal.

International students:

• We advise consulting with our education agents. The UOW College Apply Now portal provides full instructions and details on the required documents for your application.
